A hundred years in business

Founded in 1924, the LANDERT Group stands for the development and manufacture of innovative, high-quality electric motors and system solutions for demanding applications in electrical and mechanical engineering and building construction. The R&D campus in Switzerland and the 11 factories in Europe and America give the Group a solid basis.

From electric drives to pedestrian and industrial door systems

Our original core business, the design and manufacture of electric drives, remains an integral part of our product range to this day. The SERVAX division based in Switzerland designs and manufactures highly customised electric motors for specific customer applications – from electromagnetic and mechanical design to the finished product. The TORMAX division sets the pace in the market for pedestrian and industrial door systems with high-quality and pioneering solutions, from design through to manufacturing, installation and service.

The LANDERT Group believes in in-house engineering and its divisions have a level of vertical integration that is unique in their sectors. This allows us to deliver the high quality of our products while at the same time ensuring that we keep our pooled expertise up to date and use it to develop new solutions.

Local roots, branches across the world

The LANDERT Group is headquartered in Bulach near Zurich, Switzerland. The Group employs over 1000 people worldwide and is active on 5 continents with over 25 Group companies and 500 distributors.
